Acted as Cayman Islands counsel to ClouDr Group Limited. (the "Issuer") in relation to its initial public offering 19,000,000 shares and its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Issuer is one of the largest digital chronic condition management solution provider in China, in terms of numbers of SaaS installations in hospitals and pharmacies in China and number of online prescriptions issued through their services in 2021. The offering, which closed on 6 July 2022, raised approximately HK$579.5 million. The Maples team comprised partner Karen Zhang Pallaras and associate Vivian Lee. Maples Group's Fund Services business acted as the Cayman Islands share registrar, and the team comprised Eastern Fong, Regional Head of the Group's fund services business in Asia and senior vice president Christy Poon. The Issuer was also advised by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as to Hong Kong and US laws, and by Tian Yuan Law Firm as to PRC laws. The joint sponsors, Morgan Stanley Asia Limited and J.P. Morgan Securities (Far East) Limited, and the underwriters were advised by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton (Hong Kong) as to Hong Kong and US laws and by Han Kun Law Offices as to PRC laws.
