The Senate just approved H.R. 6201, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, including the "technical corrections" passed March 16 in the House. The legislation will soon go to the President for signature. We summarized the new sick and family leave requirements in the legislation in detail, including the technical corrections, yesterday.

It is worth reiterating that the new sick and family leave requirements apply only as to employers with less than 500 employees. This new legislation does not change that analysis.

Please watch for additional compliance materials and for a webinar announcement. A webinar on the substantive details for the legislation will be held in the next few business days.
