Commissioning deadline for production facilities to able to benefit from the Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism ("YEKDEM") has been extended to 30 June 2021, with the annex decree of the Presidential Decree dated 17 September 2020 and numbered 2949 has been published in the Official Gazette dated 18 September 2020 and numbered 31248.
With the annex decree,
- Deadline for the commissioning for renewable energy generation facilities to benefit from YEKDEM was changed from 31 December 2020 to 30 June 2021 and thus, an additional six-month period was provided.
- The price support determined for the generation facilities that will be commissioned from 1 January 2021 until 30 June 2021, will be applied until 31 December 2030. This price support is regulated in the table no.1 of the Law on the Use of Renewable Energy Resources for Electric Energy Production numbered 5346.
- If the mechanical and / or electro-mechanical parts used in the production facilities to be commissioned in the same period were manufactured domestically, additional support will be given for five years in addition to the price support mentioned above for the electrical energy produced in these facilities and given to the transmission or distribution system. This price support is regulated in the table no.2 of the Law on the Use of Renewable Energy Resources for Electric Energy Production numbered 5346.
