Moore Australia congratulates Dr Lana Weldon, General Manager and National Head of Quality Management, on being made a Fellow of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.
The Fellowship recognises Lana's commitment to learning and development and the impact she has had on the profession.

Her work in quality, ethics and training in the professional services field has been invaluable not only to the Moore Australia and Moore Global networks, but will support a new generation of professionals throughout their careers."
Dr Weldon joined the Moore Australia network as General Manager and National Head of Quality Management in 2020, after a career commencing in auditing at top-4 firms in South Africa and an audit firm she founded with colleagues. Lana then spent many years as an Associate Professor at a previously disadvantaged university in South Africa helping shape the lives of many chartered accountants. Lana also has significant experience in governance, consulting and quality management having been a non-executive Director of listed groups, as well as an audit quality consultant and committee member of professional accounting and audit bodies, both in South Africa and internationally.
Lana was extensively involved in the design and implementation of learning and monitoring frameworks, was a registered assessor for Registered Auditors in South Africa, has trained various boards on governance and has audit and quality management experience across many varied sectors. Lana has continued her passion for involvement in the not-for-profit space since relocating to Perth and is treasurer for both Kalparrin and Diabetes Research WA.
