Moore Australia is proud to announce the promotion of nine colleagues, the appointment of a new Associate Director and a change in role for an existing director, as we come to the end of the 2021-2022 financial year. Anthony Molloy Promoted from Manager to Associate Director - Melbourne Anthony has significant experience in Government incentive and grants-based programs which has involved clients from the resource, manufacturing, information technology and agriculture sectors. Anthony has a proven track record in securing successful Government incentives and grants for firms running large scale innovation and expansion projects. Having worked and formed valued relationships with some of Australia's most innovative organisations, Anthony has helped businesses access unique funding opportunities to maximise and support growth.

Carmin Johnson promoted from Manager to Associate Director - Perth On 1 July 2022 Carmin Johnson will commence in her new role as Associate Director within Moore Australia's Corporate Finance team. Carmin brings with her over 15 years of experience in audit and assurance and corporate finance services to clients within Australia and abroad. Carmin moved to Moore Australia ten years ago after working for the Moore network in the UK. Her areas of expertise include valuations, independent expert reports and investigating accountant's reports for ASX listed, public and large private companies.

David McLeod promoted from Principal to Director - Brisbane David McLeod is now a Director of Superannuation in the Brisbane office. Mr McLeod has 20 years in the financial industry and specialises in retirement planning and investment, compliance advice and SMSF administration.

Laura Osborne Promoted from Manager to Associate Director - Melbourne Laura specialises in providing business advisory services to a wide range of clients including the manufacturing, technology and wholesaling sectors. During her career, Laura has developed a wealth of experience in consulting to a number of different entity structures, from private family businesses to large multinational enterprises. This experience has allowed Laura to gain knowledge of the commercial issues that impact many businesses. Laura is passionate about delivering a value-added service to her clients and strives to assist them in achieving strategic and commercial goals.

Nick Goosen promoted from Manager to Associate Director - Perth On 1 July 2022 Nick Goosen, will commence in his new role as Associate Director within Moore Australia's Governance and Risk Advisory team. Nick has over 30 years' experience in providing internal audit services, regulatory compliance audits, operational audits, risk management consulting and advisory services to both public and private sector clients, nationally and internationally. Nick also has invaluable experience within the area of Forensics, including fraud and corruption control, fraud risk management and investigations.

Nicholas Smith Promoted from Manager to Associate Director - Melbourne Nicholas specialises in the provision of audit services with significant experience in industries including public sector, not for profit, listed companies and large private companies. Through his years of experience, he has gained a strong knowledge and understanding of International Accounting and Auditing Standards. Nicholas enjoys working alongside his clients in order to achieve the best possible outcomes, striving to build strong client relationships and assisting companies to meet their compliance requirements.

Oggy Georgiev promoted from Manager to Principal - Brisbane Oggy Georgiev is now a Principal for Moore Australia. Oggy has over 15 years experience providing business strategies, taxation and compliance advice to private business. He is based in the Brisbane office.

Raj Padmanabhan new joiner - Associate Director - Brisbane Raj Padmanabhan has joined Moore as an Associate Director, having spent the last 10 years as a corporate accountant where he was responsible for all accounting, tax and reporting for more than 50 multinational entities. Mr Padmanabhan has recently relocated from Sydney and joins the Brisbane office.

Robyn Speed promoted from Manager to Principal - Brisbane Robyn Speed is now Principal for Moore Australia in the Audit division. Mrs Speed has 16 years' experience and was previously an Audit Partner at PKF Durban prior to relocating to Brisbane.

Rebecca Jeffriess promoted from Manager to Principal - Brisbane Rebecca Jeffriess is now Principal for Moore Australia. She has joined the Business Advisory division and has taken on the Agribusiness team. Mrs Jeffriess has 15 years' business management, accounting and taxation experience gained in regional, coastal and metro regions of NSW.

Moore Australia's New South Wales member firm is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Channell as their General Manager.

Mark Channell appointed as General Manager - Moore Australia (NSW) Mark is a business advisor with more than four decades' experience. Mark has experience running his own practice and since 2018 has been a Director at Moore Australia (NSW). He understands the pressures of running businesses and prides himself on providing strategic advice to clients that helps them achieve maximum opportunities in their business and future pathways.
