The legal world is built on knowledge — yet accessing it, structuring it, and reasoning over it at scale remains fragmented and opaque to a certain extent. At a time when legal information is growing exponentially, Silex, by Ex Nunc Intelligence, is laying the foundations for a new generation of legal intelligence. ⚖️🤖

Silex has raised a $2.15M oversubscribed pre-seed round, led by Spicehaus, with participation from Bloomhaus Ventures AG, Active Capital, Aperture.co, COREangels, and a high-caliber group of angel investors.

The funding will accelerate the development of Silex, enable the rollout of a new generation of specialized AI agents dedicated to specific areas of law, and support the expansion of a robust, scalable legal knowledge infrastructure.

Kellerhals Carrard had the privilege of supporting Ex Nunc Intelligence on this milestone round.

The KC core team was composed of:

  • Alexandre Gachet, Partner (Corporate/VC)
  • Max-André Haas, Partner (Corporate/VC)
  • Joséphine Marmy, Counsel (Corporate/VC)
  • Serge Migy, Tax Partner
  • Virginie Rodieux, IP Partner

This milestone also highlights the strength of Switzerland’s legal innovation ecosystem, where rigorous legal expertise meets cutting-edge artificial intelligence. Companies like Ex Nunc Intelligence demonstrate how this environment is fostering the next generation of legal infrastructure with global relevance.

Warm congratulations to Kyriaki Bongard and Thomas Seze, as well as the entire Silex by Ex Nunc Intelligence team, on this remarkable achievement. We look forward to continuing to support your growth and long-term impact in the legal tech ecosystem.
