It was a night of celebration for Bär & Karrer at the LegalcommunityCH Awards ceremony held in Zurich on 6 May. The awards highlight another year of intense activity at the firm and recognise a high level of collective and individual achievement.
There were three trips to the podium to collect:
- Law Firm of the Year (overall)
- Law Firm of the Year (Banking & Finance)
- Professional of the Year (Tax) – Senior Partner Susanne Schreiber

To secure the win in the Banking & Finance category shows the ability of the firm to anticipate, react to and stay ahead of complex financial markets regulation. Doing this efficiently and accurately provides clients with the vital regulatory and transactional assistance they need.
Susanne Schreiber stood out once again with recognition of her specialist tax expertise at both an individual and a corporate level. Her knowledge has been of critical importance in a series of M&A transactions during 2025.
