Young Moore is proud to support the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA) as an annual Elite Sponsor and as a Gold Sponsor of the 2026 Annual Convention & Expo, held this week in Greensboro, North Carolina. The conference brought together long-term care leaders and professionals from across the state for education, collaboration, and celebration of the industry.

Long-term care attorneys Matthew Gray, Dana H. Hoffman, Christy C. Dunn, Alicia Bray, and Marlene Donato Kalb welcomed attendees during Tuesday morning's general session and introduced Sam Clark, vice president of finance for NCHCFA, who presented "The State of Rates: Key Updates for Nursing Facilities." Young Moore's Elaine Moyer and Lori Corlis also attended the conference.

The event combined meaningful educational programming with opportunities for networking and celebration, including themed events and entertainment that reflected NCHCFA's 70th anniversary milestone.

Young Moore is grateful for the opportunity to support NCHCFA and its members and remains committed to serving the legal needs of long-term care providers across North Carolina.

Young Moore's Long Term Care team provides strategic counsel and defense to skilled nursing and assisted living providers across North Carolina. The team represents facilities in personal injury, wrongful death, employment, and arbitration matters while advising on regulatory compliance, enforcement actions, surveys, and appeals involving CMS citations, OSHA inspections, and Medicaid audits. Attorneys also assist with arbitration agreements, employment policies and counseling, and insurance coverage issues, helping providers manage risk and navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape of long-term care.
