On the 27th November, FinanceMalta hosted, "Malta Stronger Together: Malta's Commitment to UK Financial Partnerships," once again bringing together hundreds of industry leaders, investors, operators and decision makers from both Malta and the UK at London's Mansion House. The event highlighted Malta's position as a competitive, innovation-driven financial centre and explored opportunities to strengthen the financial services bridge between the two nations.

The gathering underscored the long-standing links between the City of London and Malta, a partnership that remains important for both. Discussion centred on regulatory framework and the investment opportunities available in what has become Europe's fastest-growing economy. This was echoed in the address made by Minister for Finance Clyde Caruana reinforcing the government's commitment to fostering cross-border financial collaboration and maintaining Malta's trajectory as a dependable and globally connected jurisdiction.

A highlight from the evening was a short video showcasing Malta's impressive economic performance - 74 percent growth since 2015 compared to the Eurozone's 13.4 percent - alongside key strengths including Europe's largest shipping registry, over 900 registered aircraft, and a growing fintech ecosystem. The video positioned Malta as a trusted, well-regulated jurisdiction with EU single market access, emphasising that the country's Vision 2050 is driving sustainable, innovation-driven growth across seven strategic sectors.

Overall, the event at Mansion House served as a powerful reminder that Malta's story is far from complete and demonstrated the strength of the Malta-UK financial relationship, as well as the potential for continued growth between the two.
