FINRA proposed a rule amendment to restrict access
to representative- and principal-level qualification scores. The
amendment provides that "FINRA will no longer provide a total
score and a score profile for each major section of the content
outline to candidates who pass a qualification examination."
FINRA will, however, continue to provide these scores to a
candidate who fails an examination. Subject to SEC approval, the
implementation date will be October 1, 2018, to coincide with the
implementation of the restructured representative-level examination
program.
