Stroock co-managing partner Alan Klinger has been named a Labor Power Player by Politics NY in recognition of his work as "one of the leading public sector union lawyers in the metropolitan New York area."
"'Management' has plenty of resources at its disposal to advance its interests; 'Labor' needs to have an equally strong voice to promote its cause, both as to wages and appropriate working conditions," Alan says. "Having a strong labor movement not only benefit[s] the represented workers, but also [leads] to better working conditions for the broader workforce."
In addition to his work on behalf of unions, Alan serves on the board of NYU Law School and of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. He is also the vice chair of the Anti-Defamation League's New York and New Jersey Region and frequently speaks and publishes on matters related to the public sector workforce.
