Partner of GRATA International Yerzhan Yessimkhanov gave an interview to DigitalBusiness.kz, sharing his assessment of Kazakhstan's investment climate and the key factors influencing foreign investors' decisions.

According to him, Kazakhstan remains an attractive jurisdiction due to its strategic geographic location, infrastructure development, and the availability of investor protection mechanisms, including those provided by the AIFC. At the same time, large-scale investments are constrained by several systemic factors, including the gap between investors' expectations and actual business conditions, challenges in working with regional authorities, as well as regulatory instability and frequent legislative changes.

The interview also addresses GRATA International's experience in supporting major infrastructure projects, the development of its legal practice, and the importance of expert legal assessment when making investment decisions.
