Marshall Gerstein is pleased to announce that Partner Jeremy Kriegel has been selected as the new Secretary of the Intellectual Property Owners Association’s (IPO) Industrial Designs Committee. Jeremy has been a member of the Industrial Designs Committee since 2015 and he is also involved in IPO’s Mentor-A-Member program, where he serves as a leader for newer IP professionals.
With over 25 years of experience with design patents, Jeremy focuses his practice on utility and design patent prosecution and counseling for clients in such industries as medical devices, consumer electronics products, and hardware, across all phases of the product life-cycle. Jeremy’s approach to design patents leverages clever strategies to obtain broad, yet practical, protection of ornamental designs for physical articles as well as static and dynamic graphical user interfaces. Detail-oriented by nature, he navigates clients toward optimal business positions through careful counsel and forward-thinking intellectual property strategies.
