MADISON– Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) announced that shareholders Joe Shumow and Melanie Lee have been named to the Wisconsin Law Journal's Construction and Real Estate Law Powerlist.

This honor, reserved for Wisconsin's most influential legal professionals, reflects Shumow's and Lee's excellence in their field, consistently working as trusted advisers on behalf of their clients.
Shumow is a chair of Reinhart's Real Estate Practice, where he serves as a trusted adviser to a variety of tax credit, real estate and corporate clients. He assists developers, credit allocators, lenders and investors involved with low-income housing, new markets, historic and energy tax credit transactions. Shumow's tax credit practice is national in scope, with Reinhart having represented tax credit developers in more than 35 states.
Lee is a chair of Reinhart's Construction Law Team and a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice. Lee's experience encompasses several developments, from condominiums to mixed-use projects to large industrial complexes. She frequently works with borrowers and lenders on commercial real estate finance, including construction loans. She also analyzes and helps negotiate construction contracts and collaborates closely with clients on a wide range of general purchase, sales and leasing matters.
