A new law firm focused on Labor Law and Arbitration was created. Inaugurated today (21), GBM Advogados is formed by three partners: Luiz Marcelo Góis, Julia Braga and Vitor Mendonça, who unite their solid careers built over the years and with important passages through the main Brazilian law firms.

The pillar that guides GBM's activities is to provide a personalized service to each client, mapping the needs and expectations behind each demand based on an understanding of their businesses and strategies. The firm promises an innovative and "out of the box" legal service, building close, lasting and, above all, trusting relationships with clients, connecting creative minds to deliver assertive solutions.

The partners have consolidated professional careers. Luiz Marcelo Góis has accumulated more than two decades of career and was, for seven years, the partner in charge of the labor area at BMA Advogados. In addition to being a member of the Business and Labor Commission of the OAB/RJ, he is a professor at FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas), holds a master's degree in Social Relations Law from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo) and is a specialist in Civil-Constitutional Law by UERJ (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro).

Julia Braga has 15 years of legal experience, during which she worked on projects for national and multinational companies from different sectors of the economy. She has a master's degree in Labor and Social Security Law from UERJ (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from PUC-Rio (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro), in addition to being specialized in International and Comparative Law by The Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law in Texas, United States, and in Arbitration by The Hague Academy in The Hague, Netherlands. The lawyer has already led her own firm and worked at Veirano, Machado Meyer and Souto Correa.

Vitor Mendonça is the third pillar of the team of partners and has more than a decade of labor practice, with stints in corporate legal departments and law firms such as Machado Meyer. He holds a postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Procedure from UCAM (Universidade Candido Mendes), specialized in Individual and Collective Labour Law of Portugal by the Faculty of Law of Universidade de Coimbra, in Portugal and in Labor Arbitration Practice by CBMA (Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem).

With expertise to serve several market segments, such as oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food, telecommunication, construction and agribusiness, GBM arrives to offer a differentiated legal service, acting as a full time extension of its clients' management, within a light, inclusive and democratic work environment.
