advised Neoenergia on the sale of an equity interest in Canoas 3, a
wind power generation company located in the state of
Paraíba, Brazil, to Nexus Ligas, a manganese alloys
producer. The transaction also included the signing of a 10-year
power purchase agreement under a self-production arrangement.
The deal was approved by the Brazilian Administrative Council
for Economic Defense (CADE) in June 2025.
The team advising Neoenergia was led by partners Bruno Salzano
