Last week, Spotify announced that it would not accept political advertising in 2020.  Spotify joins other platforms, including Google, Twitter, and Facebook, who have announced updated rules related to political ads in advance of the U.S. presidential elections. 

Spotify told AdAge that, "we do not yet have the necessary level of robustness in our process, systems and tools to responsibly validate and review this content."
