Blaser Mills Law assists KR Reykjavik on its new commercial
partnership with Aberdeen FC.
Iceland's oldest and most successful football club, KR
Reykjavik, has signed a two-year partnership agreement with
Scottish Premiership Club Aberdeen FC.
Under the commercial deal, KR Reykjavik will work with Aberdeen
FC to share knowledge, experience, and expertise to help the
Icelandic club develop its income streams, facilities, coaching,
community outreach and fan engagement.
David Winnie, head of sports law at Blaser Mills Law, was
instructed to advise and assist KR Reykjavik with the agreement.
David was in a unique position in that he had previously played for
both clubs during his professional football career and was
instrumental in getting the agreement finalised to the satisfaction
of both parties.
