Gowling WLG is pleased to have built on a strong start to the 2025/26 financial year by making five senior appointments.
In the last two months the firm has welcomed three new Partners - Georgios Chic, Madeleine Clark and Rhiannon Pugh – natural resources specialist Daniel Driscoll, and new Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sarah Felger.
Three of the five new hires join Gowling WLG's Corporate, Finance and Tax Group, which reported a 32% year-on-year increase in financial performance in Q1.

Georgios Chic, a Banking and Finance partner, is spearheading the firm's Derivatives and Structured Finance practice, while Madeleine Clark has joined the Real Estate Finance team from Osborne Clark LLP.
Rhiannon Pugh, a dual qualified lawyer (England and Wales, and Germany) has joined the firm's Competition, Foreign Investment & Trade team from CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (UK).
Daniel Driscoll is a natural resources sector specialist and has bolstered the firm's Capital Markets team.
Furthermore, to help lead the bold direction of the firm, Sarah Felger, COO, brings extensive experience from senior strategic and operational roles at CMS, Taylor Wessing, Irwin Mitchell, and most recently Womble Bond Dickinson.
