Gowling WLG is pleased to welcome Sarah Campey as Legal Director to our Real Estate Litigation team, part of the wider Real Estate group.
Sarah has over 17 years' experience advising on complex and high-profile property disputes, earning a strong reputation across the sector. Sarah joins from Pinsent Masons, where she specialised in large scale developments and energy and infrastructure projects. A recognised specialist in rights of light, she recently acted for the developer of Bankside Yards in the landmark case of Cooper v Ludgate House and Powell v Ludgate House, where the court refused an injunction and awarded damages at significantly less than the sums sought by the claimants.
Her appointment marks a significant strategic investment in the continued growth of the Real Estate Litigation team and reinforces Gowling WLG's commitment to delivering market-leading expertise across the real estate sector. Sarah will be based in our Birmingham office, and her depth of experience and industry insight will further strengthen the team's capabilities and client offering nationally.
Sarah's appointment follows a series of recent team expansions, including the addition of Associate Jon Green in London, alongside three new Paralegals. A Principal Associate with over 20 years' experience in property litigation, primarily focused on asset management, is also set to join the Birmingham office in November.
