Burton A. Mitchell has been elected to serve as the new Managing Partner of Jeffer Mangels & Mitchell LLP, succeeding Bruce P. Jeffer, the Firm’s Founding Partner. Jeffer will continue with the Firm asExecutive Managing Partner.
Mitchell joined the Firm in 1985, and served as the Firm’s Assistant Managing Partner for more than 30 years. He played an integral role in Firm operations, strategic planning, and leadership development.
Joining Mitchell in Firmwide management roles as Assistant Managing Partners are:
Marta M. Fernandez, Chair of the Labor Department and Stanley M. Gibson, Co-Chair of the Litigation Department. Both have been with the Firm for more than 30 years and will serve on the Firm’s Executive Committee along with Mitchell, Benjamin M. Reznik, Co-Chair of the Real Estate Department, Robert B. Kaplan, Chair of the San Francisco Office, and Eric R. Bardwell, Alternate Chair of the Orange County Office. All have served on the Management Committee for several years.
