Gowling WLG has been reappointed as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) Legal Services Panel (RM6179). This reappointment secures the firm's place on the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's (NDA) refreshed legal panel, valued at £5 million and running until March 2027.

The NDA's updated panel marks its most significant refresh of external legal support since 2018, ensuring access to specialist expertise for the UK's civil nuclear decommissioning programme. Gowling WLG has been awarded a place on C26374 – NDA Legal Panel 2025 under the Legal Services Panel (RM6179) agreement for the supply of procurement law, major projects in energy, construction and engineering, employment law, commercial contracts and intellectual property, subsidy control and competition law, data protection and information governance, transport law across rail, road and maritime, pensions, environmental, property and planning law, regulatory and health and safety law, and dispute resolution. Through this appointment, public sector clients gain access to expertise tailored to the NDA's complex requirements.

Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2023/24, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £4.9 billion – supporting world‑class public services that deliver best value for taxpayers.

Paul Green, Partner and Leader of Nuclear Sector (UK), said: "We are proud to have been reappointed to the NDA's latest legal panel, which plays a vital role in supporting the UK's civil nuclear decommissioning programme. This success reflects the strength of our team and our commitment to advising public sector clients on matters of critical national importance."

The reappointment follows a competitive tender process and builds on Gowling WLG's established record of advising public sector clients on complex matters including procurement law, major projects in energy, construction and engineering, employment law, commercial contracts and intellectual property, subsidy control and competition law, data protection and information governance, transport law across rail, road and maritime, pensions, environmental, property and planning law, regulatory and health and safety law and dispute resolution.

Clients can access Gowling WLG's expertise through the NDA panel as well as existing mandates, direct awards and alternative procurement routes. The firm remains committed to helping government bodies navigate complex legal challenges and deliver impactful outcomes for public sector clients and communities they support.
