Revolutionizing recycling through innovation. ♻️🌍
Grensol is on a mission to transform the recycling of complex waste streams – a major challenge in the circular economy. By scaling its proprietary recycling technology, Grensol aims to enable sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective recovery of valuable materials from automotive shredder residues and other difficult-to-process waste.
The company has successfully closed its CHF 1.8 million seed equity round. The financing will support the construction and scale-up of Grensol AG's first operational site in Biberist (Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland), a key step towards industrial implementation.
We are excited to see strong investor support in this
early-stage round, led by:
🔹 Buildify Earth
🔹 Kickfund
🔹 Venture Kick
🔹 W. A. de Vigier Foundation
...along with several committed angel investors.
We are proud to have advised Grensol on all legal aspects of this financing round. The Kellerhals Carrard team, supervised by Karim Maizar (Partner, Corporate/VC), was led by Kathrin Moser (Senior Associate, Corporate/VC), Jascha Mattmann (Associate, Corporate/VC/Litigation), and Melissa Wiss (Paralegal, Corporate/VC).
"Kellerhals Carrard acted as our legal advisors during our Seed financing round and did an excellent job. Their deep understanding of startup financing, combined with a pragmatic and responsive approach, made them a valuable partner throughout the process. They helped us navigate complex legal matters with clarity and efficiency, ultimately contributing to a smooth and successful closing." says Marc Ocskay, Grensol AG's co-founder and CFO.
Congratulations to Rajiv Singhal, Marc Ocskay, Marco Ziegler, and the entire Grensol team on this important milestone. We look forward to supporting your continued journey as you bring sustainable recycling innovation to life.
