Nathaniel Lacktman, partner and chair of Foley’s Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team and Chairman of the American Telemedicine Association Board of Directors, will be a speaker at the Medical Professional Liability (MPL) Association’s annual Corporate Counsel Workshop on November 4-5, 2025. Mr. Lacktman’s presentation is titled, “Telemedicine Law Nationwide: a 50-State Assessment of the Pre- and Post- PHE Landscape.”
The rapid expansion of telehealth services in the last five years presented clinicians and digital health entrepreneurs with unprecedented opportunities to provide timely and accessible patient care. Practicing via telemedicine involves complex legal and regulatory frameworks at both the federal and state levels. This session will deliver a comprehensive overview of these frameworks — equipping attendees with the knowledge to confidently incorporate telemedicine into their practice, whether in a single state or nationwide.
Foley’s Telemedicine and Digital Health Industry Team is nationally ranked by Chambers USA, where clients have called Foley “the premier firm for telehealth counsel,” “a market leader in telemedicine issues,” and “the Dream Team” for its unparalleled insight and knowledge of the industry. Foley helps organizations and entrepreneurs embrace emerging issues in virtual care, enabling them to provide innovative care for patients in new markets around the block and around the world.
