Marshall Gerstein is excited to announce that Partner Sandip Patel was included in the Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys for 2025.
Since 2017, Crain’s Notables has recognized over 5,000 outstanding leaders across industries. Honorees are selected through a peer nomination and editorial review process. According to Crain’s, honorees must have practiced for a minimum of 10 years and have made a measurable and specific impact in their field, including pro bono work; mentor other attorneys; promote inclusive practices in the workplace; and show leadership outside of their organization via involvement in civic or professional organizations.
Sandip was recognized for his role defending CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing patents in Europe and Asia, as well as significant work with Gillette and Procter & Gamble. Crain’s also highlighted Sandip’s involvement with Marshall Gerstein’s executive committee, the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the American Bar Association.
