September 2021 – Kinstellar, Emerging Europe and Central Asia's leading independent law firm, is delighted to announce that Pavel Kornilov has joined its Almaty office as a Counsel.

Pavel has 18 years of legal experience and is regarded as one of the distinguished lawyers on the financial arena in Kazakhstan. Pavel brings extensive experience in banking, debt finance, equity and debt capital markets mandates. He also has an in-depth expertise in structured products, liability management, synthetic securitizations, credit and equity derivatives, financial regulatory and corporate advice.

In his new role, Pavel will focus on capital markets, derivatives, project development, finance and financial regulatory matters.

Pavel received with an LL.M. degree from the University of Westminster, London in 2005 and a Diploma in Law from Adilet Higher Law School, Almaty in 2003. He is a member of the Kazakhstan Bar Association.

Prior to joining Kinstellar, Pavel Kornilov was a Partner and Head of the Kazakhstan Capital Markets Practice Group at a well-known global law firm.

For several years in a row (2017–2021), Pavel was named as a Leading Individual for banking, finance and capital markets matters in Kazakhstan by the leading international legal directories Chambers Asia-Pacific and Legal 500.
