Tian's journey to Sophie Grace
As a child, Tian wanted to be a journalist as she enjoyed listening and telling stories. At the University of Sydney, she decided to study a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Commerce. This helped her realise her true calling as a financial services lawyer.
"After receiving my Master of Commerce, I thought it would be a pity to stop studying knowing that I would spend the rest of my life working. I decided to pick up law not only to challenge myself but to understand the world a bit more by learning about the underlying 'rules' that we conform to as a society." Tian explained.
We are so fortunate to have Tian as part of Sophie Grace team as her passion for corporate and banking law can be seen in the quality of her work. Tasks ranging from assisting corporate clients, especially our English and Chinese speaking clients, achieving satisfactory legal transactions and looking after compliance matters for AFSLs and ACLs, there is no challenge Tian will turn down! We are excited to be part of Tian's growth in her career progression as she evolves with the ever-changing financial services industry.
Outside of the Office
Outside Sophie Grace's office, you would catch Tian participating in team sports especially Squash, Tennis and Badminton. If she isn't out breaking a sweat, then you'd most likely find her away on a road trip!

Fun Facts
Tian can play the Piano and Guitar and she is used to write songs about her own life. Tian also enjoys participating in marathons although she claims she is a 'marathon amateur'.
