Cooper Grace Ward partner Linda Tapiolas has been recognised by The Tax Institute, receiving the Chris Wallis Community Champion Award at the 2026 Tax Summit Gala Dinner in Sydney on 3 September.
The award forms part of The Tax Institute's Community
Achievement Awards, presented annually to members of the tax
profession who go above and beyond in its volunteer
community.
The Community Champion accolade recognises exemplary ethics,
generosity and expertise, honouring professionals who give their
time and knowledge to support their peers and the broader tax
community.
Linda's win is a fantastic reflection of her expertise and dedication, and of the genuine impact she makes for both her clients and the broader tax community.
This adds to a strong run of recognition for CGW's specialist tax lawyers, with the tax practice being ranked as Tier 1 in Best Law Firms 2026 and 2027.
Linda also won The Tax Institute's Tax Service Award for Queensland in 2025, on top of ongoing recognition as a Leading Tax Lawyer in Doyles Guide, and listings in Best Lawyers Australia for Tax Law, Trusts and Estates every year since 2018.
