Maples Group advised Influence Media Partners on its proposed acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Anthem Entertainment in a transaction valued at more than US$600 million.
Maples Group is pleased to have advised Influence Media Partners, in connection with its agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Anthem Entertainment for a purchase price of more than US$600 million.
The transaction represents a significant investment in music and entertainment intellectual property and includes an extensive portfolio of music publishing rights, master recordings, and film and television-related assets. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2026.
A team of lawyers and fiduciary services professionals based in the Group’s Cayman Islands office advised on the transaction. The legal team comprised Partners Gwyneth Rees and Brock Colville of Maples and Calder, the Maples Group’s law firm, with Senior Vice Presidents Benoit Sansoucy and Garth Ebanks from the Maples Group’s Fiduciary team providing fiduciary services support.
