We have advised air defense company Cambridge Aerospace on its USD300M Series C at a USD3.4B valuation.
The round was led by DFJ Growth and supported by Lux, Accel, Lakestar, Never Lift, Ora Global and Elad Gil & Co. The capital will support Cambridge Aerospace's continued growth as the company expands manufacturing capabilities to deliver on existing and new contracts, while continuing to invest in the spiral development of existing products and bringing the next generation of capabilities to market.
Cambridge Aerospace has grown to over 250 employees, with a presence in Germany, Poland, Norway, Ukraine, Australia, and the U.K. It has received several contracts from the UK Ministry of Defence including to provide low-cost interceptors for the UK Armed Forces.
Winston Taylor has advised Cambridge Aerospace since the company's founding less than two years ago, supporting the business on its USD30M seed funding round, its USD100M Series A funding round, and its USD200M Series B funding round, which was co-led by Elad Gil & Co and Spark Capital in April of this year.
Our team was led by Paul Thorpe with support from Nadege Serna, Harry Ruffell, Clover May, and Jamie Mehta in the M&A Team. Stephen Whitfield and Charlie Barraud provided support in relation to foreign direct investment.
