Shareholder Jennifer D’Amato was featured in the August 2026 issue of MKE Lifestyle magazine, where she discussed what to consider when reviewing estate plans.
In the article, “ A Will and a Way,” D’Amato counseled families and individuals to regularly examine plans to ensure they align with changes in the law, evolving objectives and current family dynamics. She also highlighted the importance of revisiting gifting and overall tax strategies to take full advantage of current realities.
D’Amato assists ultra-high-net-worth clients in navigating tax issues and the other complexities of their closely held businesses and assets. She is the chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice, chair of Reinhart’s Trust Services Group, co-chair of the Fiduciary Litigation Service Group, and has served on the firm’s Board of Directors. Her practice includes business succession planning, leveraged gift techniques, generation-skipping transfer tax issues, will, trust and tax controversy matters, fiduciary litigation and estate and trust administration.
