Moore & Van Allen is proud to have advised the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) in connection with its partnership with the Charlotte Sports Foundation to bring the WTA Finals to Charlotte for three consecutive years beginning in 2027 and relocate the organization's global headquarters to the city.
The agreement establishes Charlotte as a global hub for women's professional tennis while creating new opportunities for economic growth, tourism and international visibility. The WTA Finals will be hosted in Charlotte through 2029, while the headquarters relocation will bring a year-round presence for one of the world's premier sports organizations to the Queen City.
Moore & Van Allen represented the WTA throughout the development of the project, working alongside the WTA, the Charlotte Sports Foundation and stakeholders across the public and private sectors to help bring the initiative to fruition.
