Unicase Managing Director, Artem Timoshenko, will be speaking on 2 July at the panel on "Arbitration from the Inside: What In-house Counsel Really Want" during the IAC Eurasia Arbitration Week 2026, taking place from 30 June to 3 July 2026.

IAC EAW26 will bring together leading policymakers, academics, in-house counsel, private practice lawyers, and arbitrators from around the world. Discussions will focus on arbitration, ADR, and the rule of law, as well as the protection of investor rights through independent, trusted, and cost-effective dispute resolution.

Artem's panel, moderated by Jeff Erlich, Executive Director, American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, will examine the practical considerations that shape corporate dispute resolution strategies, including efficiency, cost, risk management, and enforceability. The discussion will consider how arbitration and ADR can respond to the needs of businesses operating in an increasingly complex international environment.

Artem and Jeff will be joined by Elyar Aliyev, Vice President Legal (Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye), bp; Samir Abdullayev, Legal Director Western & Central Asia, Alstom; Zmarak Khan, Deputy Chief Counsel, CLDP; and Ravil Kassilgov, Managing Partner, KP Disputes. The discussion will explore the evolving expectations of inhouse counsel in relation to dispute resolution and the factors that influence their choice of dispute resolution mechanisms in cross-border commercial matters.
