The Technology team advised Kembara on co-leading the $160 million Series C round into Quantum Motion, the leading company in silicon transistor-based quantum computing. The round was co-led by Kembara and DCVC, with participation from new investors, the British Business Bank and Firgun, and existing investors. Quantum Motion aims to deliver utility-scale and commercially viable quantum computers that fit inside existing standard data centres and racks.

Kembara is a growth stage venture capital fund that focuses on deep tech and climate tech companies. The fund targets the critical inflection point where European deep tech companies have de-risked their science and achieved initial product-market fit and need to scale.

The Goodwin team was led by Adam Thatcher and Kerry Corrigan.
