Benesch is pleased to announce that Liz Bray has joined the firm as a partner in its Executive Compensation & Benefits Practice Group. Liz brings more than a decade of experience advising public and private companies, private equity sponsors, boards, plan sponsors and senior executives on the design, implementation and governance of executive compensation and employee benefits arrangements.

“Liz’s arrival further strengthens our ability to provide clients with sophisticated, business-focused counsel on executive compensation and benefits matters,” said Melissa R. Grim, chair of Benesch’s Executive Compensation & Benefits Practice Group. “Her deep experience across a range of industries and her collaborative, solutions-oriented approach make her a tremendous asset to our clients and our team.”

Liz’s practice covers executive compensation strategy, equity incentive plans, employment and severance agreements, change-in-control arrangements, deferred compensation, retirement and welfare benefit plans, ERISA compliance, and plan governance. She regularly advises on the compensation and benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, financings and other corporate transactions, as well as on corporate governance, securities law disclosure and tax matters involving Sections 409A, 280G and other complex compensation rules.
