On 23 April 2026, Unicase attended GAR Live: Turkic Region at The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty, with Artem Timoshenko, Managing Partner, and Daniil Litosh, Associate, representing the firm alongside leading arbitration practitioners, arbitrators and institutional representatives from across the region.
The discussions focused on the practical challenges of international arbitration, including procedural efficiency, strategic case management and dispute trends in construction and infrastructure projects. Particular attention was given to evidentiary complexities, expert involvement and dispute avoidance mechanisms in high-value cross-border matters.
A notable highlight of the event was the keynote delivered by Patricia Nacimiento, who emphasised the rapidly changing arbitration environment and the hardly challengeable thesis that the success will follow those counsels, arbitrators, and other arbitration community's participants that are able to predict future developments and adapt to them.
