Moore & Van Allen recently partnered with the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy's Commercial Team to host a focused panel discussion in Charlotte examining the growing economic relationship between the UAE and North Carolina.
The invitation‑only event convened leaders from business, government, and academia for a substantive conversation around cross‑border opportunities in key sectors, including technology, energy, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, deep tech, defense, aerospace, and global trade. The discussion explored how North Carolina is being evaluated by one of the world's most active global investors and what that interest may mean for companies operating in or expanding from the state.
Held at Moore & Van Allen's Charlotte office, the program emphasized meaningful dialogue and connectivity rather than traditional networking, with space intentionally limited to encourage in‑depth discussion. The event also underscored the firm's commitment to supporting clients and partners with global ambitions and engaging in conversations that shape the future of international commerce and economic development.
