Goodwin has advised Forterro, a European software provider for the industrial midmarket, on its intended acquisition of Klaes, a globally recognised software specialist for window, door, facade, and conservatory manufacturers based in Germany.
The transaction marks a further step in Forterro's strategy to expand its windows and doors line of business, following its recent acquisitions of Orgadata and BM Group, by adding Klaes' established ERP and configuration solutions for PVC and wood.
The combined platform will support the full value chain, from configuration and calculation to production and installation, enabling manufacturers to streamline workflows, optimise processes, and accelerate digital transformation.
Forterro is a European provider of software solutions for industrial midmarket companies with a strong focus on specialised manufacturing segments.
