Hunters is pleased to share news of an important development within JCA International, the European network of independent commercial law firms of which we are the exclusive UK member.
We are delighted to confirm that Nicholas Alun‑Jones, Partner in our Corporate & Commercial department, has been unanimously elected to join the Board, with his term running until the General Assembly in March 2030.
Nicholas has long been involved in supporting Hunters’ international work, including our engagement with international clients and our wider relationship with JCA. His appointment reflects both his extensive experience and the trust placed in him by member firms across Europe.
Founded in 1995, JCA International comprises more than 25 independent commercial law firms across Europe and beyond, offering coordinated legal support for cross‑border transactions and extra-jurisdictional matters. The network’s strength lies in collaborative expertise and long‑standing professional relationships which ensures our clients can step into Europe and the wider world knowing they have reliable legal resource in many of the places they need it. It is also an important source of established and new international clients increasingly doing business in the UK or submitting to the laws of England & Wales as part of international transactions and dispute resolution scenarios.
Nicholas’s election reinforces Hunters’ ongoing commitment to providing clients with seamless, high‑quality international legal support, and we look forward to his contribution to the network’s continued growth, commitment to excellence and strategic direction in the years ahead.
Nicholas commented:
“I look forward to contributing to the Board’s work and supporting the continued growth of JCA as we help clients navigate increasingly international and globally interconnected legal challenges.
