World Law Group has appointed Louise Bertelsen Forman of Bech-Bruun in Denmark as the EMEA leader of its Intellectual Property Practice Group. She joins Stephanie Consonni de Schryver of TozziniFreire in Brazil, who represents the Americas, and Jane Wang of Formosa Transnational in Taiwan, who represents Asia-Pacific, in guiding the group's global collaboration.
Louise is a partner at Bech-Bruun in Copenhagen, where she advises clients on intellectual property, regulatory, and commercial matters, with a particular focus on the life sciences and healthcare sectors. She brings extensive experience helping companies protect and manage their intellectual property while navigating complex regulatory frameworks and commercialization strategies. Her work includes advising on IP protection, licensing, and strategic transactions, as well as regulatory issues affecting innovative products and technologies.
World Law Group's Intellectual Property Practice Group is composed of leading IP lawyers who advise clients on the protection, commercialization, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related assets. Louise's appointment further strengthens the group's global leadership and brings additional depth to its work advising clients across highly regulated and innovation-driven sectors. Her experience supporting companies at the intersection of intellectual property, life sciences, and regulatory compliance enhances the group's ability to address complex issues that increasingly span jurisdictions and industries.
"Intellectual property is a core business asset. It protects innovation, attracts investment, and differentiates companies in fast-moving global markets," said Louise Bertelsen Forman. "I look forward to working with Stephanie, Jane, and colleagues across the World Law Group network to help clients protect their IP and turn it into measurable commercial value worldwide."
