Los Angeles, Calif. (October 9, 2025) – Los Angeles Co-Managing Partner Kathleen Walker will join a roundtable discussion on mediation, hosted by the Southern California Association for Healthcare Risk Management (SCAHRM) at Judicate West in Santa Ana, California on October 16 at 6:00 p.m. PT.

In this informative 120-minute panel discussion, titled "Perspectives from Neutrals, Plaintiffs, and Defense Counsel," Ms. Walker and her co-panelists Rob Dobbins and Thomas Dillard (Judicate West), and Kim A. Valentine (Valentine Law Group) will share practical strategies and insider perspectives on effective mediation. Attendees will gain valuable techniques for navigating the process, improving outcomes, and understanding approaches used by all parties involved. CLE credits are available.

Ms. Walker is a Chair of the firm's Healthcare, Medical Malpractice, and Long-Term Care Practices. Her litigation practice is devoted to representing the interests of long-term care facilities including SNF, RCFE, AL, ICF and CCRC providers as well as all types of care providers including but not limited to acute care hospitals, mental health, home health, hospice, adult day care, group homes and individual licensed health care providers including but not limited to physicians, nurses, and therapists.
