Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted a pro bono client approval for lawful permanent residence in the US as part of the firm's ongoing immigration work.

The client, a survivor of human trafficking, was referred to Jenner & Block through the Human Trafficking Legal Center in 2018.

The Jenner team guided their client through the T-Visa application process and secured approval, while also advising her as she cooperated with the prosecution of her trafficker. Most recently, our team successfully handled the client's adjustment of status petition, responding to multiple requests for evidence and securing her Green Card.

The Jenner team included Partners Rachel Alpert and Sam Feder, Associate Christian Hatten, Paralegal Adam Weidman, former Partners Michelle Kallen and Cynthia Robertson, former Associates Illyana Green, Jonathan Langlinais, and Eric Petry, and former Paralegal Grace Liberman.
