Partner Rebekah Goodheart, Co-Chair of the firm’s Communications, Internet, and Technology Practice will co-chair the Practising Law Institute’s conference “Broadband and Cable Industry Law 2026” on May 12, 2026. Rebekah will discuss legislative and regulatory developments in the telecommunications industry and explore the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) efforts to hasten the transition to all Internet Protocol (IP) next-generation communications networks.
The PLI Conference will include outside and in-house counsel as well as current government officials as they explore FCC initiatives, pole attachment law and permitting disputes, Artificial Intelligence use cases, privacy and compliance issues, and the rollout of BEAD and other government funding programs.
Rebekah advises clients including wireless and wireline broadband providers, Tribal governments, and private equity firms through issues and opportunities related to broadband, telecom transactions, FCC proceeding strategy, and antitrust work for telecom mergers.
