Young Moore attorney Christy C. Dunn presented three 60-minute training sessions on “Mitigating Risks of AI Integration in Assisted Living Facilities” at the 64th Annual North Carolina Senior Living Association Fall Convention at Caesars Virginia on September 24, 2025. In this program, Christy helped attendees understand the legal risks of using generative AI and offered practical guidance for managing risks. This program sought to help facilities successfully navigate the evolving landscape of AI through responsible adoption and implementation of AI technologies.
Christy concentrates her practice on civil litigation, insurance law, and employment law. She regularly represents employers, long-term care facilities, and insurance companies in civil litigation matters and compliance enforcement actions. She is named in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America in the areas of Insurance Law, Litigation – Labor and Employment, and Appellate Practice, and recognized among the 2025 North Carolina Rising Stars in Insurance Coverage published by Super Lawyers®. Christy is also named to Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite™ in the area of Litigation. She is active in several local, statewide, and national professional organizations, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Raleigh Metro Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as the Government Affairs Director. Christy is a magna cum laude graduate of Campbell Law School and she earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
