Young Moore and Henderson, P.A. is pleased to welcome Lukas Epps-Dawson to the firm as an associate attorney. Lukas focuses his practice on civil litigation and insurance law.
Lukas earned his B.A. in English and Government from Hampden-Sydney College and graduated magna cum laude from Campbell University School of Law, where he served as a Bluebook Editor on the Campbell Law Review. Prior to joining Young Moore, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Julee T. Flood at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Before attending law school, Lukas gained valuable experience as a Senior Account Manager at an education technology SaaS company, where he built client relationships and supported business growth. He also served as a Teach for America corps member in Eastern North Carolina, where he taught high school and developed research-based solutions to improve student outcomes.
A child of missionary parents, Lukas grew up in Germany, an experience that informs his approach to understanding clients' needs and handling legal matters. He now lives in the Triangle with his wife, daughter, and dog, and enjoys biking Raleigh's greenways, gardening, and family time.
