Young Moore and Henderson, P.A. proudly sponsored the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA) Annual Fall Symposium held September 8–10 at the Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina. Firm attorneys Matt Gray and Christy Dunn attended the event, with Christy co-presenting a 90-minute session on "Navigating the IDR Process: Essential Strategies for Skilled Nursing Facilities." In this program, long-term care attorneys explained the "who, what, when, where, and why" of disputing cited deficiencies through informal dispute resolution (IDR) and independent information dispute resolution (IIDR). The presenters assisted members in building a roadmap to navigate the process of disputing cited deficiencies effectively. This program focused on strategies facilities should adopt to increase the likelihood of success in IDR and IIDR. Christy was joined by long-term care attorneys Terri Harris and Susan Fradenburg of Fox Rothschild in presenting the program.
