Mintz advised the creators of Morbid, one of the top-charting true crime podcasts, in a multi-year agreement to move to SiriusXM from Wondery. The deal gives SiriusXM exclusive advertising rights for the audio and video formats of the podcast.
Created and hosted by Alaina Urquhart-White and Ash Kelley, Morbid premiered in May 2018 and has since become one of the most popular true crime podcasts, anchoring a growing network of related content. The podcast previously entered into an exclusive advertising and distribution deal with Wondery in 2022, also advised by Mintz.
Morbid will debut on SiriusXM on September 1, maintaining its Monday and Thursday release schedule across all major platforms.
