As part of the spin-off, shareholders in Liberty Global will receive shares in Sunrise Communications AG (Sunrise). After the spin-off, Sunrise will be publicly traded on the stock exchange in the US (NASDAQ) and Switzerland (SIX). The first day of trading on NASDAQ (under SNRE) and SIX (under SUNN) is scheduled for 13 respectively 15 November 2024. Sunrise is Switzerland’s largest private telecommunications provider.
The Liberty Global group is headed by Liberty Global Ltd., listed on NASDAQ (under LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK). After the spin-off of Sunrise, Liberty Global will continue to own and operate its telecom businesses in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Ireland and Slovakia.
