Arendt has advised MITO Technology in the launch and successful first closing of the MITO Tech Ventures, an art. 9 SFDR venture capital fund focused on climate tech investments.
Arendt & Medernach oversaw the legal structuring of the fund and led the negotiations leading up to the first closing. The team, composed of Pierre Beissel, Giuseppe Di Gesù, Elettra Vercella-Baglione, Michele Messina and Matteo Davide Behboo collaborated with Orsingher Ortu – Avvocati Associati, which handled the Italian legal and regulatory aspects of the project.
The ESG team from Arendt Regulatory & Consulting – composed by Stéphane Badey, Rocco Mezzatesta, Nevine Elsherig, Adam Zerrouk and Georgios Georgiadis – has played a key role in advising on and structuring the Fund’s ESG methodology.
Arendt Investor Services will provide comprehensive support as the Fund’s Administrative Agent, Registrar Agent, and Depositary, with a team composed by Sylvaine Fossen, Quentin Gillois and Francesca Scavino.
AManco team, composed by Gaëlle Schneider, Etienne Deloche de Noyelle, Remi Kirsch and Djamel Benhalima will support the client as the Alternative Investment Fund Manager of the Fund.
