Arendt advised iM Global Partner on their Luxembourg-based UCITS iMGP entering the European active UCITS ETF market with the launch of the iMGP DBi Managed Futures Fund R USD ETF, the first UCITS ETF following this kind of investment strategy.
Listed on Euronext Paris and London Stock Exchange, the active ETF share class mirrors the strategy of the world’s largest – US-listed – managed futures ETF.
Both are managed by Dynamic Beta investments, LLC, iMGP’s partner and a leader in hedge fund replication. The strategy aims to deliver the pre-fee performance of a representative basket of leading managed futures hedge funds, offering investors diversification in a liquid and transparent format.
The UCITS active ETF share class complements iMGP’s existing managed futures fund and expands access to the strategy across wrappers. The move reflects the steady growth of Europe’s active UCITS ETF market.
